Welcome to Train to Teach in Gloucestershire.

Accessible and open to everyone interested in training to teach in Gloucestershire (undergraduates, new graduates, mature graduates, career changers and anyone interested in training to teach), this event, organised by Odyssey Teaching School Hub and Balcarras Teaching School Hub, will give you the opportunity to:

talk to local Primary and Secondary teacher training providers, including our local SCITT, GITEP, and local universities offering training in Gloucestershire
meet a sample of schools from across the county that offer training placements for trainees- hear from local teacher training experts about what's involved and the opportunities available.

We have over 300 schools across all phases in Gloucestershire!

You'll also go away with a full understanding of:

how the programmes differ and how each one works
people to talk to to continue your research about teacher training
how to finance your training- bursaries and scholarships available to you for teacher training.
