These terms govern your use of UKTeachingJobs (ukteachingjobs.com), operated by UKTeachingJobs. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What we provide

UKTeachingJobs is a free information service: a directory of UK schools, teaching job listings, and a directory of recruitment agencies. We are an information and signposting service — we are not an employer, a recruiter, or a party to any application, placement or contract between you and any school or agency.

3. School & inspection data

School information is reproduced from the Department for Education’s GIAS database and Ofsted under the Open Government Licence. We work to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee it. Ofsted ratings reflect the most recent inspection we hold and may have changed. Always verify key details — contact information, capacity, admissions, current ratings — directly with the school or the relevant inspection body.

4. Job listings

Job listings are sourced from the Department for Education’s Teaching Vacancies service and updated regularly. We do not post, edit, moderate or verify individual vacancies, and we do not handle applications — every “Apply” link takes you to an external site. We cannot guarantee the accuracy, availability or continued existence of any listed role. Always check the official listing before applying.

5. Agency listings

Our agency directory is provided for information only. UKTeachingJobs is not affiliated with, and does not endorse or recommend, any listed agency. Accreditation indicators (such as REC membership or government framework membership) are derived from public sources and may change — verify them directly with the agency. Inclusion in the directory is not a recommendation, and you deal with any agency at your own discretion.

6. External links

This site links to external websites (Teaching Vacancies, schools, agencies, Ofsted, Companies House and others). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of those sites.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, copy or harvest data from the site at scale without our prior written permission
• Use the site for any unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purpose
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems

The site design, branding, original content and the compilation of data are owned by us or our licensors. Underlying public datasets remain subject to the Open Government Licence.
