South West London Future Teachers - Primary Open Morning

Join us for an informative and inspiring morning at Chesterton Primary School, where you will meet staff, tour the school, and observe teaching and learning in action. There will be opportunities to talk to the team about tuition fees, funding and submitting an application for teacher training.

South West London Future Teachers is a Lead Partner of the University of Roehampton, working with a partnership of schools across South West London. Trainee teachers apply directly to the Lead Partner and spend the majority of their training year immersed in school life, gaining hands-on experience alongside expert mentors. At the same time, trainees work towards achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) through the University of Roehampton.

This event is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the teacher training journey, ask questions, and discover how a rewarding career in teaching could begin with us.
