National Modern Languages SCITT - Sheffield & Peak District Taster Day

If you are interested in pursuing a career in Modern Foreign Languages teaching via the National Modern Languages (NML) SCITT, join us for an exciting taster session at our Sheffield & Peak District hub (based at Silverdale School) on Friday 13th November 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to get a taste of what the hub has to offer in terms of modern foreign languages teacher training. You will get the chance to find out what teaching is like, speak to the SCITT team, explore the hub, observe lessons, learn more about the application process and receive answers to your questions. Whether you have a degree in languages, are a bilingual speaker, have spent time living/working in a different country or are considering a career move in teaching, this session is perfect for you.

Don’t miss out on this chance to explore the world of secondary education with us!
