Find out about school-based teacher training in Gloucestershire, followed by a Q&A session. Gloucestershire Initial Teacher Education Partnership (GITEP) SCITT is a highly successful school-centred initial teacher training provider. Our school-based teacher training delivers QTS and PGCE courses including flexible routes at both Primary and Secondary level, for those wishing to complete the course part-time.

Based in Gloucestershire's Primary and Secondary schools, our courses offer practical classroom experience and give trainees the opportunity to develop their teaching skills and subject knowledge, supported by the county's best practicing teachers. We offer courses in Primary teacher training as well as 16 Secondary subject specialisms.
