With over 60 years' experience the University of Sussex offers high quality full and part time School-Based PGCE, School Choice PGCE, Postgraduate Teacher Apprenticeship and MA with Early Years Teacher Status courses in in schools across the South East. Train Monday to Thursday in a School and attend training at our beautiful campus in the South Downs near Brighton on Fridays gaining a PGCE of 90 Masters Level Credits and Qualified Teacher Status or Early Years Teacher Status. Our expert tutors and mentors support you to become a creative, reflective practical and 'thinking' teacher through 'on the job' training in school underpinned by guided focus on teaching theories and pedagogies and their application in the classroom. Once qualified PGCE, School Choice PGCE and Postgraduate Teacher Apprentices can benefit from an optional pathway to our Part Time MA Education for qualified teachers with 60 advanced credits. Tax free training bursaries and fully funded Subject Knowledge Enhancement courses (SKEs) to support subject knowledge development are available 'in house' for eligible subjects.
