You must have proven childcare experience working with young children and their families in an early years setting. The ability to speak and read Gaelic is essential. This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme as a legal requirement of a regulated role with Children (Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme - mygov.scot) The hours of this post will initially be 29.25 hours per week but will increase to 32.25 hours per week from 3 February 2026. The salary for the post at this time will increase to £23,163 - £24,050 per annum, inclusive of £2,257 Distant Islands Allowance per annum. The salary quoted is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of the grade.
