Job Details Grade: 6CHours: 7 hours per weekHourly Rate: £16.92 - £18.27Salary: £6,176.09 - £6,668.83 per annumContract Duration: Temporary until 15 August 2027 or earlier return of post holder. Please note Interviews will be held on 1st July 2026 Role Purpose You will contribute to all aspects of childcare and education in the ELC setting and take an active part in other appropriate duties as required. Essential At least one of the following qualifications:HNC in Childhood Practice/Childcare & EducationSVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) SCQF 7 / SVQ 3 Children’s Care, Learning & DevelopmentApplicants with an SNNEB/NNEB may be considered where they can evidence a record of on-going CPD during the past 5 yearsAll successful applicants for early learning and childcare posts will be required to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of appointment and maintain registration throughout the period of employment.
