Early Start Club Assistant (Term-Time, Part-Time) (Our Holy Redeemer Primary School)

Job DescriptionThe post is term-time, part time the salary will be pro-rata'd to the number of hours worked. Are you passionate about creating a warm, engaging, and safe environment for young pupils? Our school is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Start Club Assistant to help ensure that our pupils start their day with a smile and a sense of security! As an Early Start Club Assistant, you will create a welcoming and safe environment by supervising and engaging with pupils in the hall or playground, setting up and clearing the room, and assisting with breakfast service. You’ll support pupils in developing independence, encourage good behavior, and provide comfort for minor accidents or upsets, helping each child start their day positively. A warm, approachable manner and the ability to promote the school’s positive ethos are essential. Key experience for this role includes working with children along with strong communication skills.RequirementsThis post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential.
