Job description
Job AdvertFalkirk Instrumental Music Service is seeking to recruit a permanent Instrumental Music Instructor for Upper Strings (0.4FTE). Our service provides high quality tuition to children and young people across our primary and secondary schools, supporting both BGE and Senior Phase.
We are looking for a committed and high quality Instrumental Instructor who can provide progressive, effective and active lessons to full engage pupils in their learning. The majority of lessons are taught in small groups. The post holder will work aross two cluster; Braes and Falkirk.
Successful applicants will hold an appropriate music degree.
Applicants who progress to the next stage of the recruitment process will be invited to participate in a classroom observation and attend a formal interview.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.
