Job DescriptionBased at Forfar Community Campus, Kirriemuir Road, Forfar.This job is workstyle 4 - Hybrid You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from a variety of locations, working from council buildings, working in service user’s locations and site visits and you can work from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration. Working 18.125 hours per week, which may include some evening and weekend working, as a Communities Officer you will work with colleagues, communities and learners to design, deliver and assess Community Learning and Development activities with young people aged 11-25 years old. The development of learning opportunities will be responsive to the needs of young people in the Angus area. Delivery may include school, community, transition, holiday programmes and detached as well as support around awards and accreditation. We are looking for passionate, dedicated and adaptable staff who hold the degree in Community education or equivalent. Please refer to the CLD Standards Council for acceptable equivalent qualifications before applying. This post covers Angus area therefore a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
