NTTP is an established SCITT provider and has been training secondary teachers for 25 years. We offer a one year full time secondary (11-16) teacher training course in a wide range of subjects. We have an excellent reputation across Northamptonshire and neighbouring counties and have trained over 450 trainees, many of whom are involved in the training programme. Graded as outstanding by Ofsted (May 2024), we have an experienced team delivering a comprehensive and bespoke ITT course. The partnership is comprised of schools which offer a wide range of different experiences for our trainees. As a result, all our trainees are highly prepared for employment at the end of the training year. During the event you will have the opportunity to: meet the SCITT team find out about the eligibility requirements of the course receive information on how to apply get information on fees and funding find out more about the courses we offer find out what it's really like training with NTTP. With over 60 years' experience the University of Sussex offers high quality full and part time School-Based PGCE, School Choice PGCE, Postgraduate Teacher Apprenticeship and MA with Early Years Teacher Status courses in in schools across the South East. Train Monday to Thursday in a School and attend training at our beautiful campus in the South Downs near Brighton on Fridays gaining a PGCE of 90 Masters Level Credits and Qualified Teacher Status or Early Years Teacher Status. Our expert tutors and mentors support you to become a creative, reflective practical and 'thinking' teacher through 'on the job' training in school underpinned by guided focus on teaching theories and pedagogies and their application in the classroom.
