Official pay scales (STPCD 2025/26)
Statutory minimums from 1 September 2025. Most classroom teachers sit on the Main range (M1–M6); the Upper range (U1–U3) is reached after passing threshold. Schools may pay more, and leadership posts, TLR payments and SEN allowances sit on top of these.
