Teaching Assistant (EHCP Support)

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide support for a pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), while also contributing to the wider life of our school.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
  • Enjoys working one-to-one with children with additional needs, including those with ASD, ADHD or communication and interaction needs
  • Is calm, patient, nurturing and understanding
  • Has experience of, or an interest in, supporting children in the Early Years and/or Key Stage 1
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
  • Is flexible, resilient and able to adapt to individual pupil needs
  • Has a creative and solution-focused approach
  • Is committed to achieving the best outcomes for all children
  • Shares the school's values and commitment to inclusion
  • Can support learning both individually and in small groups
