Administration Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated administration assistant based at Derwent Primary School.

This is a full-time term time only office position plus 5 inset days and one week in the summer holidays.

Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (including 1 hour lunch break)

Level 1D point 3 (£25,540 per annum pro rata)

Person Specification

  • Experience of working in a school environment would be ideal, however, office experience is essential.

  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload and to work well under pressure (good organisational skills)

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

  • To maintain confidentiality at all times in respect of school related matters and to prevent disclosure of confidential and sensitive information.
