Behind every successful school is an organised and welcoming front office - the person who keeps everything running smoothly, offers a friendly first impression, and takes care of the many small but important details that support both children and staff each day.

St. Benedict's Catholic Primary School is a caring, friendly, and ambitious school where happy children develop a genuine love of learning. Guided by our shared values - together we love, we learn, we live - we nurture independent thinkers and lifelong learners. Our pupils grow in confidence, show respect for others, and are ready to take on the world.

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant who takes pride in their work and plays a vital role in supporting the daily life of the school. You will join a supportive, welcoming, and values-driven community.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Provides a calm, friendly, and professional front‑of‑house presence, welcoming visitors, answering calls, and supporting parents with enquiries.
  • Keeps accurate records and supports the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school through strong organisation, ICT skills, and attention to detail.
  • Manages pupil information and attendance efficiently, with the ability to prioritise and stay composed in a busy environment.
  • Supports a wide range of administrative tasks, including communications, bookings, and general office duties, with a proactive, “can‑do” approach.
  • Works closely with staff to meet pupils’ day‑to‑day needs, demonstrating teamwork, efficiency, and empathy.

At our school, you will find:

  • Children who are enthusiastic, kind and eager to learn
  • A genuinely supportive and collaborative staff team
  • A school where wellbeing and professional trust are valued
  • Opportunities for training, development and growing your expertise
  • A strong sense of community where every member is known and valued
