Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Esteem South Academy

Grade/Scale: Support Pay Scale, DCC Grade 5 (Points 4-5), Actual Salary £14,633 - £ 14,864 per annum

Contract: 25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year - term time only (11.30-4.30pm)

Esteem South Academy is an alternative provision in, Swadlincote, South Derbyshire.

We're looking for a friendly and organised Administrative Assistant to be the welcoming face of our academy.

You'll be the first point of contact for all visitors and will play a key role in managing both internal and external communication with parents, staff, and the wider community. Your responsibilities will include providing essential support at the front office, such as assisting with pupil data.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has administration/office experience
  • Possesses a positive, can-do attitude
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office/IT systems (knowledge of school MIS systems is a bonus)
  • Is committed to safeguarding and maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Can adhere to all school policies and procedures.
