Salary: Meridian Trust Support Staff, Grade 3 (£8,428 Actual Salary)
Hours of work: Thursday & Friday, 8am to 4pm (term-time only)
The Lantern Community Primary School has a vacancy for an enthusiastic and well organised administrative assistant. You will be part of a small and friendly office team and the role will be busy and varied. Your work will include reception duties, greeting visitors, answering email and telephone calls, inputting attendance and school lunch orders, managing pupil records including admissions date, overseeing arrangement for school trips and after school clubs plus general office duties.

The ideal candidate:
- A good educational background - GCSE qualifications or above
- Experience of working in a school or office environment
- Possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
- An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
