After School Club Assistant

Job description

Set in the village of North Crawley, we are a small school with a close-knit team of staff. We are seeking an efficient and confident individual who can maintain the high standards of the school.

Ideal candidate skills and experience:

  • Experience of working with children

  • Experience of working in a school environment

  • Reliable, punctual and trustworthy

  • Have a genuine interest in working with children

Duties will include:

  • Supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times

  • Engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation

  • Setting up activities for children to optionally take part in

  • Meet and greet parents and provide them with feedback on their child's time at the club

  • Assisting in the provision of a light tea, preparing, serving and cleaning up

  • Clearing down at the end of each session

  • Mandatory school training

Working pattern - Monday to Friday, 3.30pm - 6.00pm

12.5 hours per week

Term time only plus one inset day
