Job description
Our vision at Southwood Primary School is to create ‘a community inspiring futures, nurturing growth, enabling every child to succeed’. We are looking for the right individual to join our dedicated School Business Office team, to support with all aspects of school business administration, including ordering, deliveries, liaising with suppliers, stocktaking, maintaining our asset register and payments.
We are looking for someone:
- who has GCSE English and Maths (or Level 2 equivalent) and is willing to undertake further training (Level 3 apprenticeship in business administration);
- Who is reliable, honest, hardworking and self-motivated;
- Who has strong financial skills including finding value for money;
- Who can communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including staff and suppliers;
- Who can be flexible, prioritise workload and meet deadlines;
- Who has some experience of working in a school and/or office environment (or similar);
- Who enjoys working as part of a team, has the ability to maintain a positive approach (no matter what!) and will enjoy ensuring our school is the best it can be!
