ARP Teaching Assistant to support pupils with ASD

Job description
Would you like to be part of our ARP (Additionally Resourced Provision)?
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic SEN TA for 5 days a week from 08.15 to 3.15 pm with a half hour lunch break to support children on the Autistic spectrum.
You must be able to:
- Demonstrate high expectations for all learners;
- Create engaging and purposeful learning experiences;
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues;
- Embrace our core learning behaviours of respect, motivation, teamwork, perseverance and focus;
- Be committed to ensuring every child achieves their full potential and
- Have good oral and written communication skills, be proficient in the use of ICT and be able to work as part of a dedicated ARP and mainstream team.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an excellent understanding of how children learn and their barriers to learning;
- Understands the importance of adaptive teaching and inclusive provision;
- Is committed to professional growth and collaborative working;
- Brings energy, creativity and warmth to the role; and
- Shares our belief that every child should feel safe, happy and successful at school
