ASSISTANT HEAD OF YEAR

Knole Academy in Sevenoaks is looking for an enthusiastic professional to support

our Head of Years.

Salary will be paid according to experience on AAT scale Grade E £29,167 - £30,934 FTE

(equates to £26,192 - £27,779 per annum

37 hours per week: Monday - Thursday 8:00am to 4:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, 38 weeks term time plus two weeks)

The role involves supporting the Head of Years with administration for pastoral and behavioural issues as well as taking responsibility for monitoring student attendance. Excellent communication and organisational skills are required to liaise with Heads of Year, SENCo, parents as well as other staff as well as the confidence to deal with student behaviour. The postholder must have an affinity with dogs as the well-being dogs are based in this office.
