This is a pivotal role for a highly motivated professional who is passionate about creating a culture where every student can thrive, achieve and succeed. The successful candidate will lead on behaviour, attendance, student rewards and careers education, ensuring that high expectations, strong relationships and aspirational opportunities underpin every aspect of school life.

Working closely with the Principal and Vice Principal, you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies that promote excellent conduct, improve attendance outcomes and foster a positive, inclusive environment in which students are recognised and celebrated for their achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for behaviour and attendance across the school.
  • Lead and develop systems that promote excellent standards of conduct, punctuality and attendance.
  • Oversee the school's rewards and recognition programme, ensuring student success is celebrated and valued.
  • Lead the development and delivery of an outstanding Careers programme.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on behaviour and attendance data to drive improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with pastoral leaders, curriculum leaders, students, families and external agencies.
  • Support the strategic direction and day-to-day leadership of the school as a member of the senior leadership team.
  • Contribute to safeguarding, inclusion and student wellbeing.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven record of raising standards.
  • Has successful middle or senior leadership experience.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of behaviour management, attendance improvement and student engagement.
  • Has the vision and drive to develop innovative reward systems and careers provision.
  • Can inspire staff, students and families through exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Is committed to ensuring every young person achieves their full potential.
  • Shares our commitment to excellence, inclusion and Catholic education.

What We Offer:

  • The opportunity to join a supportive and ambitious leadership team.
  • A vibrant school community with enthusiastic students and dedicated staff.
  • Extensive professional development and leadership opportunities.
  • A culture that values wellbeing, collaboration and professional growth.
  • The opportunity to make a significant difference to the lives of young people.

All Saints is an 11-16 school, situated near the northern boundary of Kirklees. We are a Catholic college with students attending from diverse cultural backgrounds, which contribute to the distinctive ethos. In November 2022, Ofsted judged All Saints “Good” in every category. We were judged “Good with Outstanding Catholic Life and Mission” by the Catholic Schools Inspectorate in March 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our College making substantial progress under current leadership. In turn, we are looking for a candidate committed to playing a part in transforming the lives of our young people.

At All Saints Catholic College, we aim to create a happy workplace culture through promoting a healthy work/life balance. We do that by providing a package of flexible employee benefits, including:

- - An attractive pension scheme for both Teaching and Support staff.

- - A high-quality wellbeing package including medical cover, counselling, physiotherapy, fast track medical cover, care service and a 24-hour GP helpline.

- - Care First Advice - a 24/7 information and counselling service.

- - We are part of the Cycle to Work scheme. Tax free bikes and safety equipment can be payable by payroll deduction through a partnership with Cyclescheme.

- Free parking.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals who are able to work as part of the whole staff team, and who will support and uphold the Catholic ethos and practices of the college.

All Saints is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Therefore, we expect all workers, volunteers and employees to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including a satisfactory Enhanced Criminal Record with Barred List check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

It is an offence to apply for the role if an applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children (where the role involves this type of regulated activity).

A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.

Due to the number of application forms we receive, we regret we can only contact the shortlisted candidates.
