Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and practical individual who will take pride in maintaining our beautiful school site and ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our children, staff and visitors.
The role will include:
- Keyholder responsibilities and site security
- Day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs
- Carrying out routine health and safety checks (e.g. alarms, lighting, legionella)
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and school policies
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting a strong culture of safety
- General porterage and stock control
We are looking for someone who:
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and takes pride in their work
- Has good practical/DIY skills and a proactive approach
- Has (or is willing to develop) a strong understanding of health and safety
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Has a friendly, caring nature and enjoys being part of a school community
Previous experience is beneficial but not essential, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
