About the role
This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the school buildings and grounds to a high standard
- Ensuring site security, including opening/closing and responding to call-outs
- Carrying out repairs, maintenance and general upkeep
- Supporting health and safety compliance across the site
- Assisting with lettings, events and occasional minibus driving
The role operates on a shift basis (early and late shifts), with some weekend working and participation in a call-out rota.
We welcome applications from candidates seeking full-time hours and would also consider offering this role on a part-week basis through a job share arrangement.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has practical maintenance or DIY skills
- Is reliable, organised and able to use their own initiative
- Has a strong awareness of health and safety
- Enjoys working as part of a team and contributing to the wider school
