Hours: 5 hours per week

Salary: NJC Point 4 - 6 - Actual Salary £3,075

Term Time Only with 2 week’s holiday at October half term

About the post:

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our committed existing in-house catering team. Main duties of the post are to undertake general kitchen duties, food preparation and service, the operation of a cashless till system, and basic cleaning duties.

Previous experience in an educational environment is preferred but not a requirement, however, the ability to communicate easily with staff and students is essential. Knowledge of health and safety in the kitchen would be helpful however full training will be provided.

The role is 5 hours per week, term time only. The hours worked will be:

Monday to Friday -1.15pm - 2.15pm

During exam periods, the hours are Monday to Friday 12.15pm - 1.15pm

Applicants must be flexible with hours and occasionally overtime hours are available to cover for absence and training.
