Working pattern: Mon - Thurs - 10.30am - 2.45pm and Fri 9.30am - 2.45pm
We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and customer-focused Catering Assistant to join our catering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality food and service to our students, colleagues and visitors.
As a Catering Assistant, you will support the preparation, cooking and service of food while helping to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming dining environment. The role also includes supporting catering provision for Trust events and functions, with flexibility required to work occasional evenings and weekends.
To be a good fit for this role, you will have;
- A positive and enthusiastic approach to work
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
- Experience in a catering or hospitality environment (desirable but not essential, as training will be provided)
- Flexibility to support catering events outside normal working hours when required
