Job description
We are a thriving village school seeking to appoint an experienced Catering Manager and Kitchen Assistant who have a passion for cooking and providing high quality meals. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who enjoy using their own initiative, as well as working as part of a team, to join us in September. Hours for both roles will be discussed during interview.
Ideally candidates should hold the Level 3 Food Safety Certificate, although training will be given. Applicants should have experience of working in a similar environment, and be capable of supervising and motivating staff. They should have a strong culinary background and be motivated by providing the best possible food and service to students, staff and visitors.
Duties include preparing an average of 90-100 meals per day, food ordering, monthly stock takes and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen.
We are looking for candidates who:

- Want to be a member of a creative and dynamic staff team.
