- has experience or a strong interest in SEMH and behaviours
- has secure knowledge of the national curriculum – and are aspirational
- has the ability to plan fun, engaging lessons for a range of needs, levels and interests
- has emotional intelligence, is patient and kind
- has excellent communication skills
- can manage behaviour positively and consistently
- can confidently lead and manage a class team.
- can lead a subject area and inspire and challenge teaching colleagues as part of their subject leadership role.
