Job description

About this Role

Our 'Bring It!' vision requires us to ensure our pupils are excited by and fully engaged in their learning and school experience more widely. We support them to use their talents to create positive school memories with their friends that will remain with them for the rest of their lives.

Our aim is to inspire a lifetime of adventure.

As a Church of England Trust, we support its vision for education which is deeply Christian, with Jesus' promise of 'life in all its fullness' at its heart.

St Barnabas Trust is looking to recruit an outstanding KS1 teacher to join our team. This an exciting opportunity to work within St Barnabas Multi Academy Trust at St Martin’s School.

St Martins is a vibrant and nurturing church school for children aged 3-11. Our dedicated team works closely to recognise and develop each child’s unique gifts and talents, helping them flourish in confidence, character and independence. Alongside a strong academic foundation, we offer an embedded outdoor adventure curriculum that inspires curiosity, exploration and a lifelong love of learning.

We are looking for a teacher who will truly make a difference in children’s lives.

Join our school at the heart of the community and become a member of the St Barnabas Trust family. We are seeking to recruit a highly experienced and enthusiastic teacher. We believe that every member of our school community has important talents to share, nurture and grow. • demonstrate a desire to ensure that every single child can achieve the best of their ability, through effective differentiation and high-quality teaching.

  • Embrace and capitalise on the learning environment outside the four walls of the classroom.

In return, we can offer you:

  • a welcoming and friendly team environment within a MAT committed to staff development with well-motivated and enthusiastic children who are eager to learn new skills.

  • the opportunity to flourish within a supportive and forward thinking school family.

  • Generous local authority pension scheme

  • Cycle to work scheme
