We are thrilled to announce a wonderful opportunity at Hightown Junior, Infant & Nursery School for an enthusiastic Key Stage Two teacher to join our team. If you’re searching for a role where you can truly make a difference, this might be the perfect fit!

Our school is a warm and welcoming place with a great reputation in the local community. We pride ourselves on working together in an environment of respect, fairness, and enthusiasm. We celebrate effort and embrace challenges, creating positive experiences that help all our children thrive.

As a school we can offer you:

  • Our school is a warm, welcoming place, with pupils who are eager and engaged. They bring a unique energy to the classroom, making it a great environment for teaching and learning.
  • One of the best things about joining us is the chance to be part of our continued development as a school. We value every single person's input, and together, we can shape our future and keep growing in new and exciting ways.
  • You’ll also be joining a friendly and supportive staff who work hard and share the same goal of helping every child achieve their potential. There’s a real sense of camaraderie here, and our governing body is fully behind us, which makes for a positive and rewarding working atmosphere.
  • What’s more, this isn’t just a job; it’s an opportunity to truly impact the lives of our children and their families. Seeing our pupils thrive is what makes teaching so rewarding, and we’d love for you to be part of that journey.
  • If you’re looking for a place where you can really make a difference while working in a collaborative and vibrant environment, then this is the post for you!

The successful candidate will:

  • The ideal person will possess proven experience of teaching Key Stage Two children. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of helping children grow, both academically and personally. To succeed you’ll need to be as passionate as we are about raising standards and improving opportunities for every child.
  • You’ll be someone who can get our children excited about learning, who will make lessons fun and engaging while having a firm grasp of the primary curriculum to deliver top-notch teaching that meets the National Curriculum.
  • Creativity and a fresh approach to teaching are key, too. You will need to be someone who’s passionate and ready to think outside the box to enhance the learning experience. Working well with the team is a must, so effective communication and collaboration will be essential.
  • We want someone with determination and resilience, able to tackle challenges head-on and strive for success for every child.

You are very strongly encouraged to arrange a visit prior to submitting your application.
