King’s Leadership Academy Hawthornes is seeking a dedicated and proactive School Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students and staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-led, high-performing school that’s transforming lives through education.

Why Work With Us?

Part of the Great Schools Trust, one of the UK’s fastest-improving multi-academy trusts, we prioritise the well-being and development of both students and staff. All our academies are rated ‘Good’ or better by Ofsted, and we are proud to nurture a culture of respect, professionalism, and excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
  • Support health & safety compliance and contribute to a positive school environment

What We Offer

  • A strong, supportive community with clear values: Achievement, Aspiration, Self-awareness, Professionalism, Integrity, Respect, Endeavour (ASPIRE)
  • A role that supports student learning and wellbeing by providing a safe, clean space
  • Respectful and friendly working culture with opportunities to grow within the trust
  • Family-friendly policies and staff wellbeing initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of cleanliness
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in a cleaning or facilities role is an advantage, but not essential
  • A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
