Cleaner
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Cleaner to work with our Cleaning Supervisor to ensure our lovely school is kept clean and safe for our pupils, staff and visitors. Monday to Friday (3.00-5.30pm or 3.30pm to 6pm). Also to include a deep clean of the school during the Easter and Summer school holidays.
Duties will include cleaning, washing surfaces, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying of litter bins and the cleaning of the designated areas which will include toilets, fixtures and fittings.
Candidates will be required to:
- Work as part of a team, covering sickness when required.
- Required to undertake a DBS check.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of safeguarding and welfare procedures
- Report a shortfall of stock requirements to the Cleaning Supervisor
- Advise the Cleaning Supervisor of any deficiencies in classrooms or corridors etc broken chairs, carpet rising
- Follow Health and safety Guidelines, report faulty machinery and equipment to Site Manager
- Be energetic, proactive, self-motivated and have attention to detail
