Cleaner (Lead) Lift Firth Park Fircroft Avenue, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S5 0SD United Kingdom Salary: NJC 3-4 £10.052 - £10,210 (£12.85 - £13.05 per hour) + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits Hours: 15 per week (52 weeks per year) Contract: Part time, permanent Closing date: 5th August Interview date: 12th August Start date: September 2026 We're hiring a school Lead Cleaner! We're looking for a friendly and reliable lead cleaner to join our team at Lift Firth Park. As a lead cleaner you will be responsible for ensuring all cleaning tasks in the school are complete daily, during times when the cleaning supervisor is not available. The working hours for this role are: 3:15pm - 6:15pm per day (Monday to Friday) You're someone who'll be able to: * You should be highly motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking. * Although you will at times work under the direction of the cleaning supervisor, you should be able to work both in a team and independently, and be able to lead the team in absence of the cleaning supervisor. * Experienced in cleaning large premises and familiarity with COSHH requirements is desirable, although training will be given. * This is a physical role, you must be able to complete manual and physical cleaning tasks including carrying equipment and moving light furniture such as chairs and tables at times in order to be able to clean effectively. * Able to commit to the stated weekly working hours.
