Job description
The post-holder will work under the guidance of the
Business Manager to oversee a team of
cleaners. You will help supervise the work of the cleaning staff and allocate
tasks accordingly.
- Team leadership:Manage and guide a team of cleaning staff to maintain high standards.
- Operational oversight:Schedule cleaning tasks and ensure all areas of the school are properly cleaned and maintained. Oversee and undertake general cleaning duties.
- Time Management: You will have the ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks to a high standard and coordinate and motivate your team to do the same, as they will be working with minimal supervision.
- Health and safety:Be knowledgeable about and enforce all relevant health and safety procedures, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Stock Management: Be responsible for ordering and stock control
- Quality assurance:Inspect work to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met throughout the school environment.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Physical fitness.
