Salary: Grade 3 - FTE £24,796.00 pro-rata per annum

The Learning Partnership along with the Principal at Leighton Academy wish to appoint a motivated, committed and highly effective Clerical Assistant to join our hard working and enthusiastic office team. The successful candidate will have good communication skills, be positive and able to work in a busy environment. The role requires the ability to work as part of a team and to strict deadlines. Excellent inter-personal skills, enthusiasm and high levels of accuracy are integral to the role and the ability to multi-task is essential. The ability to use social media for promotional purposes, manage a website and a strong working knowledge of Excel is desirable.

A professional and discreet approach when dealing with pupils, staff, and visitors to the school is required. The successful applicant will need to be able to maintain a friendly, helpful, confidential and professional attitude. Experience of working within a school office setting is essential.

Working hours will be Wednesday to Friday, 22.5 hours per week between the hours of 8.00am - 4.00pm term time only with the addition of 2 INSET days. .
