Location: Astrea Academy Dearne, Barnsley
Start Date: November/December 2026
Salary: £27,001 - £28,834 (Actual Salary)

Hours: 37 hours/week, Term Time Only (39 weeks/year)

Astrea Academy Dearne is seeking a highly effective Cover Supervisor to join our committed team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about education and considering a future teaching career. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining high expectations and supporting disruption-free learning by supervising whole classes and ensuring scholars complete work set in the teacher’s absence.

We are a proud member of the Astrea Academy Trust, serving over 1,150 scholars aged 11-16. Located in Barnsley, we’re easily accessible from Wakefield, Leeds, Doncaster, and Sheffield. Our academy is inclusive, aspirational, and academic—driven by the belief that every child can thrive.
