Job description
Herschel Grammar School is a mixed, selective school graded ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted.
The post holder will deliver pre-set work to classes in the absence of teachers plus other pupil and administrative related duties.
The appointment will be subject to a clear DBS search and we aim to appoint individuals who:
- have good practical skills and attention to detail
- are approachable, caring but firm
- are able to work with teachers and students in a calm manner
- have good standards of literacy and numeracy and ICT skills
- are energetic, creative and hands-on in all they do
- can work collaboratively in a team
- can recognise the success in students, others and themselves, as the first building block to improvement
- are extremely flexible and can cope with change
- have an openness to training and personal development
