We work in a happy and friendly school, with bright classrooms, colourful shared spaces and lovely grounds. We are looking for a Cover Supervisor who will:
teach whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers
complement teachers’ delivery of the curriculum and contribute to the development of other support staff, pupils and academy policies and strategies
work collaboratively with teaching staff and assist them in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources
provide support to pupils, teachers and the academy in order to raise standards of achievement for all, by utilising your advanced levels of knowledge and skills when assisting with planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes
encourage pupils to become independent learners
provide support for pupil welfare and support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of academy life
In return, we offer you:
A friendly school which works closely with our pupils' families
Happy, well behaved pupils who are well engaged with their learning
A leadership team focused on a relational approach, school improvement and staff development
