COVER SUPERVISOR

Salary: From £26,825 without a Teaching Qualification / From £36,000 with a Teaching Qualification

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join us in a dynamic and rewarding role, working alongside teachers to support pupils across a range of subjects and abilities. In this role, you will play a key part in helping students overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential, making a meaningful difference to their lives and the wider community.

You will play a pivotal part in maintaining continuity of learning when teachers are away from the classroom. Your knowledge and expertise will enable you to deliver lesson plans for subject-specific classes. Your responsibilities will include managing Student behaviour and providing support to promote a positive educational experience for all. The position requires a high level of subject knowledge, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

You will contribute to maintaining a calm, focused learning environment and support effective behaviour management. Your patience, adaptability, and proactive approach will help ensure all pupils can achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.

Why join us?

  • A diverse, hands-on role at the centre of a dynamic and busy school
  • The opportunity to collaborate closely with staff and pupils across the wider school community
  • A supportive team environment with a clear sense of shared purpose
  • The chance to make a meaningful and visible contribution to the day-to-day operation of the school
