Job description
Bodmin College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible, and committed Cover Teacher to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning. This is a key role, ensuring continuity of education for our pupils during staff absences, and helping to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
As a Cover Teacher, you will be expected to deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and key stages, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Your ability to adapt quickly to different school contexts and uphold our high standards of teaching and learning will be essential. Opportunities are available in both primary and secondary settings, depending on your experience and preferences. The role may also include a teaching commitment for part of the time, in the successful candidates subject or phase specialism depending on need.
This is an ideal opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy variety and are passionate about making a difference. Whether you are recently qualified, returning to teaching, or looking for a more flexible approach to classroom teaching, CELT offers a supportive and collaborative professional community.
If you are motivated, resilient, and committed to helping every child reach their potential, we encourage you to apply. Join a forward-thinking trust that is shaping the future of education across Cornwall - and be part of something that truly matters.
