Job description

Stamford Welland Academy & The Bluecoat School

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and compassionate Deputy SENDCo to support SEND provision across Stamford Welland Academy and The Bluecoat School.

About the role

Salary: MPS/UPS plus SEN Allowance (£5698)

Hours of work: 3 days at Stamford Welland Academy & 2 days at The Bluecoat School

Working closely with the SENDCo and wider school teams, you will help coordinate effective provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities, supporting high-quality inclusive practice across both schools.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about improving outcomes for students with SEND.
  • Has a strong understanding of inclusive education and effective SEND provision.
  • Can build excellent relationships with students, parents/carers and colleagues.
  • Is organised, proactive and able to work effectively across two school settings.
  • Can support colleagues in delivering appropriate strategies and interventions.
  • Has high expectations for all students and a genuine commitment to removing barriers to learning.
