Job description
We are seeking an ambitious, compassionate and highly organised Education Welfare Attendance Manager to play a leading role in driving our attendance strategy and work alongside senior leaders and our outstanding Student Support Team to ensure every young person has the opportunity to thrive in our care.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful school where relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Attendance is already strong, but we're determined to make it even better. We have the ambition to become exceptional. We know that excellent attendance changes lives, and we're looking for someone who shares that commitment.
This is an influential role at the heart of our school family. Working closely with students, families, colleagues and external agencies, you'll lead targeted strategies and interventions that remove barriers to attendance, promote positive relationships and help every student attend, achieve and thrive. Alongside supporting individual students and families, you'll use data to identify trends, shape strategy and drive continuous improvement across the school.
You'll be joining a genuinely friendly, supportive and highly collaborative team where colleagues work together towards shared goals and where staff wellbeing is genuinely valued. We're proud of the positive relationships between staff and students and of the inclusive, ambitious culture we've created together.
We know that great schools are built by great people. That's why we invest heavily in professional development, work collaboratively across Arden Multi Academy Trust and place staff wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. As part of our Trust, you'll have opportunities to learn from colleagues across our schools while contributing to our shared vision of developing confident, ambitious young people who achieve highly and leave us ready for the next stage of their education and beyond.
If you're looking for an opportunity to make a genuine difference in a successful, ambitious school where people work together and care deeply about young people, we'd love to hear from you.
Visits to the school are welcomed; please contact Mrs Jones at office@lodeheath.org.uk to arrange a date.
