Job description
Are you looking to play a vital role in supporting our students' academic journeys? Alder Community High School is seeking reliable and enthusiastic Exam Invigilators to join our dedicated team.
As a valued member of our school community, you’ll help create a calm and supportive environment during examinations, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to perform at their best.
You don’t need prior experience — full training is provided. We welcome applicants who:
- Are reliable, organised and calm under pressure
- Have excellent communication
- A keen eye for detail
- A commitment to upholding fair examination standards
- Can commit to availability during school hours
- Enjoy working as part of a supportive team
- Want to contribute positively to the success and wellbeing of our students
Experience in a school setting is helpful but not essential, your attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
You will work with school staff, candidates and other invigilators before, during and after examinations to ensure the smooth running of examinations in accordance with publicised JCQ guidelines.
Applications are handled on Teaching Vacancies (GOV.UK).
