Job description

Hold at least 5 GCSE’s or equivalent, which must include at least a Grade C/4 in Maths and English. (Essential)

Previous exam invigilating experience within a school environment. (Desirable)

Previous experience of working with children in an educational setting. (Desirable)

Successful experience of working within a secondary school. (Desirable)

Knowledge of ‘Instructions for the Conduct of Examinations’. (Desirable)

Good behavioural management. (Desirable)

Able to demonstrate a commitment to school improvement and raising achievement forall students.

Able to follow processes.

Previous administrative experience demonstrating strong organisational skills.

Excellent problem solving, communication and organisational skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal sensitively with related issues/individualswith tact, diplomacy and discretion.

Ability to work quickly, methodically and accurately under pressure and act flexibly tosupport others and respond to unplanned situations.

Good interpersonal skills and an ability to develop and maintain effective workingrelationships with colleagues and students.

Able to work under pressure and work to deadlines.

Have the flexibility to undertake any role requested by the Examination/Data Officer.

Willingness to support students on a 1:1 basis.

High levels of professional integrity, energy and enthusiasm.

Flexible and responsive to change.

Be dependable, able to follow instruction and respond to management directions.

Have the ability and willingness upon occasion to carry out some manual lifting ofexamination stationery.
