KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As Examinations Manager, you will:
· Plan, organise and deliver all internal and external examinations, including entries, timetabling, invigilator, and results administration
· Ensure all examination processes meet JCQ and awarding-body regulations, maintaining high standards of confidentiality and integrity
· Recruit, train, and manage a team of invigilators to ensure examinations are conducted professionally and efficiently.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who brings:
· Strong organisational and time-management skills
· Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
· Confidence working with data, spreadsheets, and MIS Platforms
· The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
· A proactive, solution-focused approach
· Experience in examinations or data management [desirable but not essential]
WORKING PATTERN
This role is based on 37 hours per week, 52.14 paid weeks, and 45.34 working weeks, delivered through an annualised hours model totalling 1,678 hours per year.
Holidays are expected to be taken during school holiday periods. However, due to the nature of the role, you will be required to work during key points in the school holidays, including results days, post-results services, and other essential examination-related activities.
During the main examination seasons, you will be required to work additional hours to meet operational demands. These extra hours are balanced across the year, meaning you will work fewer hours during quieter periods to ensure your total working time remains at 1,678 hours. This structure provides clarity, fairness and flexibility while ensuring the College is fully supported during peak times.

· Flexibility through annualised hours
If you are organised, meticulous, and ready to take on a role at the heart of the College operations, we would be delighted to receive your application
