Job description
At Oasis Academy Leesbrook, we’re launching something truly special, and we want you at the heart of it!
We’re excited to invite applications for an Extended Provision Teacher to join us as we open a brand new, purpose built provision designed to transform the educational journeys of students who need it most.
Why This Role Is Different
This isn’t just another teaching role; it’s a unique opportunity to build, shape, and inspire a provision from the ground up, creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where every student can reconnect with learning and rediscover their potential.
Working with small groups of KS3–KS4 students, many of whom face barriers in education, you will deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching in a personalised setting, supporting learners with SEMH, SEN, and behavioural needs through tailored, engaging pathways from Entry Level to GCSE.
A trauma-informed approach is highly desirable, or at the very least, a strong understanding that many of our young people may have experienced difficult starts in life and require a genuine sense of belonging before they are ready to engage and thrive.
You’ll build strong relationships with students, families, and professionals, while collaborating closely with pastoral teams, SEND specialists, and external agencies.
At the heart of the role, you will help create a provision where every student feels safe, valued, and able to succeed.
- Brand-new, purpose-built facility on site
- Fully integrated with the wider academy community
- Focused on inclusion, aspiration, and positive outcomes
- A unique opportunity to shape systems, routines, and culture from the start
Be Part of Something Bigger
We’re more than a school, we’re a community driven by purpose.
- Make an Impact – Transform lives through exceptional education and care
- Supportive Culture – Work in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment
- Modern Campus – Teach in a state of the art setting
- Values-Led Approach – Aspiration, achievement, care, and resilience guide everything we do
- Professional Growth – Access CPD, NPQs, and leadership pathways across a national network
- Community Reach – Extend your impact beyond the classroom through the Oasis Hub
Help Build Something Exceptional
We’re seeking a teacher who is:
- Qualified (secondary experience preferred)
- Passionate about inclusive education and pastoral care
- Calm, adaptable, and reflective
- Skilled at building positive, trusting relationships
- Excited to create something new and meaningful
- A strong team player
Experience with SEND, SEMH, or alternative provision is welcome, but your mindset, empathy, and commitment matter most.
Your Opportunity to Make a Difference Starts Here. If you’re looking for a role where you can innovate, inspire, and truly change lives, this is it. Join Oasis Academy Leesbrook and help shape a provision that will transform futures for years to come.
To apply, please complete the application form by 11.59pm 31st July 2026.
Please note: Oasis Community Learning does not accept unsolicited CVs or speculative introductions from recruitment agencies. We work strictly with agencies on our Preferred Supplier List (PSL), and any CVs submitted outside of this agreement will not be liable for an introduction fee.
Applications are handled on Teaching Vacancies (GOV.UK).
