Our highly acclaimed, 2 form entry, OFSTED rated ‘Good’ School (March 2025) is looking to appoint a dedicated, resilient, creative and outstanding teacher who can demonstrate a commitment to raising children’s aspirations and attainment through creative and inspiring Early Years provision. We are looking for a teacher whose dedication will motivate and connect with our pupils and families, whilst ensuring progress and ambition are fostered for all learners. Someone who reflects on their practice, as well as their class’, and amends learning to meet the needs presented to them on a daily basis. This post is suitable for an ECT.
We are looking for a teacher who has:
- Proven ability to work effectively alongside others to have a significant impact on pupil's attainment
- Proven highly effective EYFS practice
- Effective teaching and assessment of phonics to develop early reading
- Proven ICT skills and Interactive Whiteboard teaching
- Clear understanding of assessing pupil's progress through play.
- Comprehensive understanding of the needs of pupils with SEND needs within the mainstream classroom
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents and colleagues
- Ability to build effective relationships with adults and children
- Work as part of an effective team with humour and dedication
- Good organisation skills
- Uses their initiative
