Family Worker

Heath School · London · Camden

Job description

Heath School is seeking a committed and compassionate Family Worker to join our dedicated team. Working closely with students, families, school staff and external agencies, you will play a key role in improving attendance, engagement, wellbeing and safeguarding outcomes for some of Camden's most vulnerable young people.

The successful candidate will build strong relationships with families, provide practical and emotional support, coordinate interventions, and act as a bridge between home, school and other services. You will be skilled at working with families facing complex challenges and be committed to ensuring every young person has the opportunity to thrive.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly supportive and ambitious team that is committed to transforming life chances through education, inclusion and strong multi-agency working.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working with children, young people and families.
  • Can build positive, trusting relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Is resilient, organised and able to work independently.
  • Shares our belief that every young person can succeed with the right support.
