About the role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to support the Finance Director across a Trust of four academies and a Central Services team. This varied role combines operational finance responsibilities with strategic financial support. Key duties include overseeing banking, reconciliations, income management, budgeting support, management accounts and financial analysis. You will also act as a key finance contact across the Trust, providing guidance and support to staff, maintaining financial systems, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements, and supporting procurement and contract management. Working across multiple sites, you will build strong relationships with colleagues and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing finance function.

What we are looking for
- Education/Academy experience highly desirable
- AAT Level 4 qualified
- Experience in a busy finance environment
- Strong knowledge of financial systems and Microsoft 365
- Experience supporting management accounts, budgeting and financial reporting
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and improve processes
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with a commitment to supporting schools and delivering positive outcomes for pupils
